Koprivshtitsa Museum Town
Koprivshtiza is one of the most charming small Bulgarian towns that still preserves the atmosphere of the National Revival period. It is huddled in the mountain 111 km. east of Sofia. No other Bulgarian museum town boasts such a big number of houses and monuments - 388 in all, most of which have been restored to their original appearance after having been the living witness of the turbulent history.
You will visit several houses-museums with typical architecture from the Bulgarian Revival period and The Assumption church built in 1817.
